What is Dibond:

Alu panel plates are made up of three layers like a composite sandwich plate. The outer two layers are made of 0.3 millimeter thick aluminum. The core is made of polyethylene-black plastic. 

Due to the use of aluminum, this sheet material is very lightweight, but very sturdy and durable. 

The print result on this material is sleek and even and dibond is UV and weather resistant, which is why this material is suitable for wall decoration outside in the garden or on the terrace.

Dibond is not only very popular for interior applications such as wall decoration, but also great as a beautiful back wall in the kitchen or bathroom.

For the bathroom, we recommend the spacers with a drilled hole at each corner to insert the spacers. Provide this information when ordering and we will implement it.

Contrary to what the name suggests, plexiglass is officially not a type of glass, but plastic. However, it is so clear and transparent that it is often used for the same functions as glass plates. 

The difference with real glass is virtually invisible. Other names for plexiglass are perspex and acrylic glass, and the official name of the material is acrylic. Plexiglass has a number of important advantages over regular glass:

STRONGER THAN DOUBLE GLASS
Plexiglass is therefore not real glass, but a plastic. This makes it many times stronger than glass. The best-known property of plexiglass is that it is more flexible and impact-resistant than glass and is less likely to break. An even stronger variant is polycarbonate. A polycarbonate sheet is more than 250 times stronger than glass, making it virtually unbreakable.
 

LESS WEIGHT
In addition, plexiglass is about half as heavy as average types of glass. A plate with a thickness of 5 mm weighs only 6 kilos per square meter. This makes Plexiglass extremely suitable for applications where a large weight saving is required compared to glass.
